Project Description

The Stock Profit Calculator is a simple program coded in Java and designed for users who dabble in the stock market. This calculator helps users make financial decisions for purchasing/selling stocks based on the user's input. There are three sections for users to choose from:

1. Make Money - Users can enter in general information about their targeted stock and stock broker information (broker's commission, stock price, how much the user wants to make, etc.), and thus will be able to generate an answer of how many points the stock needs to go up in order to make the specified goal.

2. Short a Stock - Users can enter in general information much like the first option, only this time an answer is generated based upon information that is generally used when shorting a stock.

3. Penny Stocks - Users can enter in general information much like the first two options, only this time an answer is generated based upon information that is generally used when dealing with penny stocks.

The information entered by users is in no way saved, sent to, or used by the developers of this project. Preferences are saved locally on the user's machine.

The developer's on this project are not liable for any decisions made based upon using this program.
